Updating Your Campus Directory Profile

You can update your Campus Directory Profile through the directory website. On the directory website search for your profile. On your profile page scroll to the bottom and click on the link “edit this entry”.  This link takes you to a sign in page. Enter your CruzID and Gold Password and click “Sign In”.  Once you are signed in you can edit your directory information. You can save the changes you make to your profile by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking “Save and Continue Editing” or “Save and View Entry”.  

Office Telephones

Your office has comes with a telephone. ITS provides telephone services to the UCSC campus. UCSC uses VoIP Telephone Services. Click here to learn how to navigate the telephone screen and discover the features available.

Access to Printers

The Physics Department has a printer in the Physics Mailroom. For more than 100 copies, please use the Copy Center. The department assistant can help you to put in a request.

Campus Fleet Vehicles

Campus Fleet vehicles can be rented through Earth and Planetary Sciences or with Campus Fleet Services. Business Cards

Business cards can be ordered online. Please visit the UC Storefront website to place your order.

Copier Access

There is a photocopy machine in the Physics Department Mailroom, ISB 232. 


PBSci Facilities manages brass key and electronic card access for the PBSci Division. For more information about the key program, please visit their website.

To request or approve brass key access, login to ITS's ADCKey System. You will need the following information to submit your key request:

• Your CruzID and Blue password.

• Room Number(s) and Building Name(s).

• Your supervisor's name.

Faculty are paid on the 1st of every month. If the payday falls on a weekend or holiday, the check will be available on the last business day of that month. Paper checks are mailed to the department office (ISB 211). Payroll checks not distributed within 5 business days are mailed back to the Payroll office. 

We suggest enrolling in Direct Deposit of paychecks. Below are the steps:

1. Login to At Your Service Online (AYSO)

2. Click 'Direct Deposit' in the 'Income & Taxes' box in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

3. On the 'Change my Check Disposition' screen, select 'Direct Deposit', then click continue.

4. Enter your bank information.

5. Click Authorize, then Confirm.

It may take until after the next paycycle completes for Direct Deposit to take effect. In the meantime, you will still receive a paper check.
